  • Paid Internship, Atlanta Office

    GCI Health is seeking a highly creative, motivated candidate with experience in healthcare public relations to work as a PR Intern in our Atlanta office.  We are looking for a recent graduate or someone that has recently completed a healthcare internship who is a team player that can deliver on results and is not afraid to think outside of the box. This person may have the opportunity to extend their internship and could potentially turn into a full-time role as an Assistant Account Executive. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, as well as solid research and analytical skills. He/she must be detailed-oriented, resourceful, and able to multitask and prioritize under deadlines. A solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required and an experience in public relations and healthcare is essential.

    This internship is a paid position, and candidates must be able to commit to 40 hours per week.

    • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
    • PR internship background in healthcare or a healthcare related internship is highly preferred.
    • Basic understanding and interest of the field of public relations.
    • Some knowledge of client(s) or practice area helpful.

This person should have a solid Healthcare PR agency or Healthcare PR client background (at least 6+ years) with strong experience in high science campaigns. They would be supporting one of our premier Pharmaceutical clients with a major upcoming milestone in their disease area with interesting stories to be told.
