New York, NY – November 3, 2020 – GCI Health has named Dawn Christian as its new senior vice president of inclusion and diversity, advancing the agency’s commitment to fostering and sustaining an inclusive and diverse environment, both internally and within the healthcare communications industry.

Christian brings an in-depth understanding of cultivating a diverse talent pool that addresses the intersection of cultures, ethnicities, skill sets, backgrounds, gender and age, among other factors, and setting measurable goals to track the implementation of programs. In her new role at GCI Health, Christian will report to Kristin Cahill, President, North America.

Christian joins GCI Health from AstraZeneca, where she previously championed global inclusion & diversity efforts as associate director of learning strategy. In her role, Christian provided counsel and insight on training and development, leveraging her knowledge of diverse populations to support an international launch strategy across key global markets.

As the primary subject matter expert and architect of GCI Health’s inclusion and diversity strategy, Christian will provide guidance, direction and oversight on all internal and external communications related to the agency’s goals, programming and policies. She will partner with teams across the network, including human resources and talent acquisition, on professional development programs to advance and evaluate organizational expertise related to diversity & inclusion standards and goals.
