NEW YORK, December 19, 2022 - GCI Health today announced that Dante Cunningham has joined the agency as Senior Vice President, Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I). An accomplished DE&I business leader, Cunningham will leverage his extensive experience in implementing data-driven strategies, attracting diverse talent and developing strategic community partnerships to accelerate the agency’s DE&I efforts. He will report to Nesa K. Johnson, Global Chief People Officer.
In his new role, Cunningham will drive GCI Health’s DE&I priorities, working closely with agency leadership to expand cultural competency, develop new learning and development opportunities and forge relationships with external partners to advance our internal DE&I goals. Cunningham will also oversee the agency’s employee resource groups and guide the DE&I committee.

Cunningham brings a wealth of experience across industries, including fashion, e-commerce, insurance and academia. Most recently, he was Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rue Gilt Groupe. Prior, as DE&I lead of campus recruiting at Chewy, Cunningham increased diversity hiring by double digits in one year. Before that, he held DE&I and partnership development roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Indiana University.
