GCI Health is looking for a Vice President based in one of our U.S. offices. Our preference is New York but we are also open to Philadelphia, Boston, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, or Los Angeles. This person should have solid Healthcare PR agency or Healthcare PR client experience (at least 8+ years) who has a good mix of experience with high science and consumer-facing campaigns. This person should be an excellent writer, a go-getter and a team player. They would be leading one or more of our premier Pharma clients as well as some of the potential consumer business.

Responsibilities

Contribute significant value through a strategic partnership with your client(s)

Oversee client budgets and budget tracking, billability and how a client service business works

Leadership on new business efforts – Display excellent writing skills for all types of correspondence

Oversee teams to successful, timely completion of specific projects

Contribute to the company’s success through marketing efforts and engaging in the GCI Health community

Qualifications

At least 8+ years of Public Relations agency or client side experience

Healthcare PR experience

Strategically apply digital media tools to achieve client objectives

Proficiency in providing strategic value and highest quality of all client deliverables

Managed multiple projects simultaneously

Worked under deadline pressure

Proficiency in using computer and standard office applications
