About the Role

GCI Health is seeking a highly creative, motivated candidate with experience in healthcare public relations to work as an Account Coordinator in our New York office. We are looking for a recent graduate or someone that has recently completed a healthcare internship who is a team player that can deliver on results and is not afraid to think outside of the box. This person may have the opportunity to extend their assignment and could potentially turn into a full-time role as an Assistant Account Executive. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, as well as solid research and analytical skills. They must be detailed-oriented, resourceful, and able to multitask and prioritize under deadlines. A solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required and an experience in public relations and healthcare is essential.

This is a temp-to-perm position, and candidates must be able to commit to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

PR internship background in healthcare or a healthcare related internship is highly preferred.

Basic understanding and interest of the field of public relations.

Some knowledge of client(s) or practice area helpful.
