about the role

GCI Health is looking for an Account Executive based in one of our U.S. offices. Our preference is New York but we are also open to Philadelphia, Boston, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, or Los Angeles. This person should have solid Healthcare PR agency or Healthcare PR client experience. This person should be an excellent writer, a go-getter and a team player. They would be supporting one of our premier Pharma clients as well as other fascinating accounts.

Responsibilities

Monitor the media, compile media lists and generate effective reports

Demonstrate competency in working with the news media

Continually bring fresh, creative thinking to your account

Demonstrate a solid understanding of client budgets and budget tracking, billability and how a client service business works

Display excellent writing skills for all types of correspondence

Demonstrate the ability to work on teams to be successful and timely on completion of specific projects

Contribute to the company’s success through marketing efforts and engaging in the GCI Health community

Qualifications

At least 1+ year of Public Relations agency or client side experience

Healthcare PR experience

Understanding of the changing digital landscape

Developed written materials that are organized, professional and concise

Managed multiple projects simultaneously

Worked under deadline pressure

Proficiency in using computer and standard office applications
