LONDON, 16 June 2025 – GCI Health today announced the hire of Aneeb Sharif as EMEA Head of Policy. Sharif will lead the agency’s policy team across the EMEA region from its public affairs hub in Brussels.
Sharif brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare policy analysis, strategic communication and patient advocacy across Washington, D.C., London and Brussels, with deep expertise and proven success in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving impactful campaigns. Previously, Sharif was the Head of Policy and Patient Engagement at Syneos Health, where he was responsible for growing the agency’s public affairs practice across U.S., European and global markets. Sharif also held a leadership role at Edelman, supporting the agency’s health public affairs team.

In his new role, Sharif will steer GCI Health’s EMEA public affairs business and partner with Kath Harrison, President, EMEA, and Ryan Kuresman, Global Head of Public Affairs and Health Policy, to drive new opportunities, broadening the agency’s client portfolio serviced by teams across the region.
