Since joining GCI Health more than 20 years ago, Kristin has soared through the ranks and now leads the agency as Global CEO.

Sherry Goldberg, President, North America
As President of North America, Sherry leads GCI Health’s largest market, providing insights, oversight and solutions that address clients’ most pressing communications needs. A compassionate and empathetic leader, Sherry takes pride in fostering a culture at GCI Health that prioritizes kindness, respect and accountability. With 20 years in health communications, Sherry is an expert in U.S. and global product milestones, navigating issues, defining executive platforms and managing professional and consumer branded and disease awareness campaigns with precision and impact. She was named to the MM+M Women of Distinction Class of 2024.

Kath Harrison, President, Europe and Middle East
Kath is known for her ability to bring creativity into the everyday. She inspires clients and teams to think differently, delivering award-winning, transformational campaigns for world-leading healthcare companies and brands. Recognized by PRWeek UK as one of the most influential people in healthcare communications, Kath has been the driving force behind GCI Health’s rapid expansion in Europe and the Middle East. Throughout a stellar 20-year career, she has transformed companies and their brands through incisive, integrated communications strategies at the forefront of healthcare.

Rikki Jones, President, Asia-Pacific
Rikki has been instrumental in building a stellar, best-in-region health and medical communications team to deliver GCI Health’s impact across Asia-Pacific and global emerging markets. Known for her relentless approach to excellence in communications and client service, she is a trusted advisor for many of the world’s largest healthcare companies. Her 20-year career, spanning roles across three continents, has mostly been spent working at the intersection of communications and policy, focused on removing barriers to market access and health equity. Rikki has delivered countless award-winning campaigns, and GCI Health has been the most awarded health communications team in Asia-Pacific over the last few years.

Kristy Derkson, General Manager, Canada
Kristy has spent decades as a communications expert and is a master at solving problems. It’s what gets her up in the morning. When it comes to healthcare, Kristy has worked with large multinational pharmaceutical companies and small new market entrants. She’s supported hospitals, hospital foundations and patient groups. She’s worked on Rx and OTC products, on conventional chemical therapies and originator biologics and biosimilars. From launching innovative products and programs to lending her expertise as organizations build their brands and reputations, Kristy has seen and done it all.

A self-described inventor of things and stone-turner, Amy brings her love for science and storytelling into the art of strategy. A lifelong learner, Amy digs deep and goes beyond surface-level insights to uncover the emotional truths driving people’s perceptions and behaviors. She’s delved deep into conditions, from rare diseases, cancer, neurological disorders, asthma, heart disease and diabetes, to areas such as personal hygiene, home care and beauty. Clients are consistently won over by Amy’s energetic attitude and ability to quickly arrive at strategic insights that enable brands and companies to grow to new heights.

Matt Graffeo, Global Lead, Digital and Clinical Trial Communications
A seasoned digital health leader, Matt harnesses his expertise in international digital work to deliver innovation to GCI Health clients around the world. Matt brings years of experience leading social and digital activations for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. He has led multiple social media campaigns in a variety of languages and across regions, including Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Matt inspires his teams to think strategically and inclusively and ensures that each project that GCI Health undertakes incorporates a global perspective.

Glen Halliwell, Global Lead, Medical Communications
Glen is an experienced healthcare communicator with 18 years of experience supporting medical communications for global pharmaceutical clients. He is a scientist by trade and is also a Certified Medical Publications Professional. In recent years, Glen has acquired a passionate interest in finding more sustainable solutions to our healthcare challenges and, in 2021, completed a Business Sustainability qualification with the University of Cambridge. Glen leads GCI Health’s global medical communications offering, based out of Singapore.

Ryan Kuresman, Global Lead, Public Affairs and Health Policy
As GCI Health’s public affairs and health policy expert, Ryan provides critical client counsel on the most complex issues facing the health sector today. Over the last two decades, Ryan has led policy and advocacy efforts for associations, advocacy organizations and coalitions, professional societies and global corporations. He has designed and directed public affairs initiatives around complex health policy debates and business-critical assignments at the local, national and international levels.

Becky Lauer, Global Lead, Media
A renowned media strategist with an impeccable ability to translate complex science for a broad range of audiences, Becky has helped drive life-changing information forward for decades – like the first treatments for HIV and hepatitis C, CAR T-cell therapies for cancer and Alzheimer’s disease research advances. At GCI Health, Becky works across a spectrum of healthcare accounts to pioneer innovative media strategies. She’s spearheaded media efforts for 400+ U.S. Food and Drug Administration approvals, covered 20 years of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meetings and provided sage media and crisis communications counsel to the hottest biotechs in our industry. A bona fide legend in healthcare communications, Becky has been recognized as an MM+M Pinnacle Awards 2023 honoree.

Kim Sammons, Global Lead, Advocacy
Kim is deeply immersed in patient advocacy and has a strong track record of creating lasting connections between clients and advocacy groups worldwide. With over two decades of experience in advocacy and stakeholder relations, Kim works with clients to research, identify and manage collaborative partnerships that drive awareness and action. She has worked with government, non-profit and for-profit organizations in the health sector across a wide variety of therapeutic areas throughout her career.

Trey Watkins, Global Lead, Global Public Health and Corporate Impact
With a background in global public health and international development, Trey is deeply committed to social impact and the belief that communications, advocacy and partnerships can positively shape and drive global agendas, social practices and policy. Leveraging nearly 20 years working with non-governmental organizations and foundations, the private sector and multilateral systems, Trey offers senior counsel to GCI Health’s clients, informing communications, public affairs and ESG strategies to tackle some of the world’s most pressing global health challenges – from HIV/AIDS and malaria to anti-microbial resistance, mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights and non-communicable diseases. Trey holds a Master of Public Health degree in global health promotion from The George Washington University and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations (2020-2025). In 2021, he was named a PRWeek 40 Under 40 honoree.
