Kim has more than 20 years of experience within the agency, corporate and nonprofit sectors, including demonstrated success in strategic alliances, grassroots and global efforts. She has overseen high-profile campaigns for a number of clients, including two for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she developed health communication initiatives to change the standard of medical care for people living with HIV/AIDS among healthcare providers, as well as a multi-cultural campaign to increase physical activity among people with arthritis. In addition, Kim brings experience in translating high science research into actionable communication strategies and tools. Today, she leads a variety of global initiatives focused on developing strategic partnership platforms, and provides leadership and council to Biogen Idec, Johnson & Johnson, Lundbeck, Pfizer and Takeda. At GCI Health, Kim focuses on supporting clients with leveraging the evolving role and needs of patient advocacy groups, including traditional and online influencers. During her career, she has led integrated communication campaigns for the Arthritis Foundation, American College of Rheumatology and Morrison Senior Living to name a few.
