Sophie Asker, GCI Health’s Regional Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Named to Campaign Asia’s 40 Under 40 

Sophie Asker, Regional Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, at GCI Health, was named to Campaign Asia’s highly impressive 40 Under 40 list, which identifies exceptional leaders who are passionate about making a business impact and advancing the field of marketing communications in the region. Leading GCI Health’s APAC teams, Sophie has been at the helm of significant growth, more than doubling agency revenue in 2022, powered by a team that she has helped to nurture and empower to thrive.

Since joining GCI Health in 2020, Sophie was promoted to interim regional managing director. Over a one-year period, she proved herself to be an extremely capable business builder, overseeing impressive revenue growth, new business wins and client and people retention.

Sophie’s warm and personable leadership style provides a stabilizing environment for her APAC team. She has tirelessly mentored team members while counseling clients, always with a positive outlook. In addition, Sophie takes time to provide ad hoc communications counsel to third parties on her own time.
