New York, NY – AUGUST 26, 2020 – GCI Health today announced the hirings of Kristin Mengel Ryan as Senior Vice President, North America Digital Lead, Jennifer Semetulskis as Senior Vice President, Wellness & Nutrition, and Bailey Roy as Vice President, Head of Analytics.

Kristin Mengel Ryan joins GCI Health in New York from IPG-PR, a Weber Shandwick offering, bringing more than a decade of experience in helping brands leverage data and emerging technologies to improve patient outcomes and physician experience. She specializes in scalable omnichannel solutions, connecting the dots between communications, consumer marketing and professional marketing initiatives. Kristin will lead the U.S. team of digital strategists to drive innovation in the communications ecosystem. In 2016, she was recognized as one of MM&M’s Women to Watch and was a finalist for NY Health Business Leaders Boldest Digital Health Influencer in 2017 and MedTech 40 under 40 Healthcare Innovators in 2018.
Joining from Ketchum in Boston, where she served as a Director of Analytics, Bailey Roy brings nearly a decade of expertise in research and analytics in communications supporting clients across many industries. She specializes in digital analytics research and measurement, from integrated multi-channel measurement, consumer journey mapping, audience profiling and influencer impact analysis to social media listening that informs strategy, search engine optimization and website tagging/analysis. In 2020, she was recognized as a Rising Star in Public Relations by Business Insider and, in 2018, was awarded Young Professional of the Year at the International Summit in Barcelona for AMEC (International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication).
Kristin and Bailey will report to David Chadwick, Executive Vice President, Global Digital Lead.

Jennifer Semetulskis joins GCI Health from Edelman, bringing more than 15 years of experience leading award-winning integrated campaigns across a range of therapeutic areas, including allergy & asthma, sexual health and women’s health. She pairs her in-depth health and science expertise with a grounding in consumer engagement and marketing. In her previous role as senior vice president at Edelman, Jennifer provided integrated communications and marketing strategic counsel to clients that included Merck, Sprout Pharmaceuticals, Midwest Dairy, Kimberly-Clark Huggies, Trojan Brand Condoms, SpoonfulOne and University of Michigan. Based in Chicago, Jennifer will report to Kirsten Whipple, Executive Vice President.
