One out of every five clinical trials is completed within its planned timeframe. Of those that aren’t, more than three-fifths (65%) are delayed due to recruitment. At the same time, while social and digital media have transformed healthcare marketing over the past few years, neither of those modalities is being utilized to its fullest extent in clinical trial recruitment.
